Liberation Team, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting against sex trafficking, is ran by Kendra, who has once been a victim herself yet she has triumphed in the face of adversity.

A protector at heart

Whether its Kendra's profession in personal protection or her teaching good health, martial arts, or firearms instructions, she is nothing short of Everyday-Elite.

The Interview

Question 1 - Where were you born?
Kendra - I was a Military brat so I was born on Fort Belvoir and moved around quite a bit but grew up mostly in New Orleans.

Question 2 - What school(s) did you attend?
Kendra - I went to so many schools moving around a lot.  At one point I went to almost 4 different schools in 3 different states in 2 years.

Question 3 - What did you do after graduating?
Kendra - My adult life started earlier than most. So at 16 I was working, supporting myself, and going to high school still.

Question 4 - What was your first job?
Kendra - My first job at a pretty young age was babysitting. Thinking back I was actually kind of young for the amount of trust they were putting in me, but everyone's child was always returned better than how they were dropped off.

Question 5 - What do you do for a living?
Kendra - Currently, I teach Self Defense and Firearms Instruction. I also run a Non-Profit dedicated to fighting against Sex trafficking.

Question 6 - What inspired you to pursue your job?
Kendra - Going through my own experiences with Sex trafficking and being a Survivor called for me to join the fight to help end it and save and prevent it from happening to others.

Question 7 - How would you describe Woobies in 3 words?
Kendra - With me always.

Question 8 - What are some of your achievements?
Kendra - My best accomplishments are my two teenage boys. They are polite and respectful and enjoy reading and art….and video games lol. 

After that, the Liberation Team and the caring network have grown to feel like a great win.

Question 9 - What are your goals and aspirations?
Kendra - My goals are to create a movement so large and wide that the shame sex trafficked victims wear is put back on the criminals and justice is served.

Question 10 - Is there anything else you would like to say to our veteran community and customers?
Kendra - I would like to thank every Veteran for fighting for the rights that allow me to fight for this cause! I also thank the many Veterans that currently do support and fight for sex trafficked victims’ freedom.
